Cambridge Area Training provide courses and skills for rural and landbased business

Cambridge Area Training are providers of agricultural and land based training courses in South Cambs, Cambridge, East Suffolk and North Hertfordshire. We are a Lantra Awards accredited provider. Courses can lead to a variety of qualifications and certification including City & Guilds NPTC , BASIS, FACTS and NRoSO .

Training courses cover a wide variety of training mainly for Rural and Farming Skills. these include :

Safety ( Emergency First Aid, Working at Heights, Safe lifting and Health & Safety Awareness courses).

A range of Agronomy and Pesticide application courses which include training in the operation of pesticide spraying and granular application equipment (PA1, PA2, PA4 and PA6), NRoSO updates. We can also supply training and assessment for the use of Aluminium Phosphide use in Pest Control.

Machinery and Workshop: Forklift, Telehandler, Tractor, 360/180 excavator Welding, Abrasive wheels .

IT training including Office and Web applications.

We are able to customise and develop courses to your requirements including the development of training and presentation materials

You have a choice of how to arrange your training course. We provide prices (ex VAT) where possible so you know what your training will cost. Machinery courses include the correct use of abrasive wheels, welding (gas, arc, mig and tig), courses in tractor operation and maintenance.

One of our most requested sets of courses are Forklift and Telehandler instruction. We provide Lantra Awards accreditation. Our Industrial Forklift and Telescopic handler courses reflect the most recent guidance from the Health & Safety Executive as outlined in the 2013 update of the Forklift Approved Code of Practice (L117).
